BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Ziyad N. Aldoski is an Assistant Professor and Head of the Highway and Bridge Engineering Department at Duhok Polytechnic University. He earned his PhD in Transportation Engineering from Széchenyi István University, Hungary. His teaching and research focus on intelligent transportation systems, traffic safety, autonomous and connected vehicles, traffic sign detection and recognition, computer vision, machine learning, deep learning, LiDAR, and sensor data analysis. His research applies artificial intelligence and sensing technologies to transportation, road safety, and automated vehicle perception. He has published in international peer-reviewed journals and has experience in academia, engineering consultancy, and transportation infrastructure development.
