Dr. Fady F. E. Samann is a Senior Computer Engineer and Lecturer at Duhok Polytechnic University’s Technical College of Engineering, where he serves as the Coordinator of the Cybersecurity Engineering Department. A distinguished Cisco accredited instructor, Dr. Samann managed the university’s Cisco Networking Academy from 2022 to 2026 and is currently spearheading the integration of Cisco professional syllabi into the department’s academic curriculum. His global perspective is backed by an M.Sc. from the University of Nottingham (UK) and a Ph.D. in Information and Communication Technology from Duhok Polytechnic University, specializing in vehicular networks. In 2023, he represented his institution in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), focusing on Cybersecurity and IT Curriculum Development in the United States. With research published in prestigious international journals, his expertise spans Cybersecurity, IoT, and advanced computer networking.
